In June 1968, I graduated from the State University College at Oneonta, New York with a Bachelors degree and started my first full-time career as a public school teacher. I first taught junior high school social studies at Selden Junior High School, Centereach, Long Island. Over the course of 25 years, I taught also junior high school students at Susan B. Anthony I.S. 238 school in Jamaica, NYC, and ended my educator career in 2004 as a high school history teacher at Benjamin N. Cardozo High School in Bayside, Queens. In between these years, I would go on to earn my Masters degree in Public Administration from New York University. I have also taught part-time at St. Johns University, Jamaica Queens campus as well at St. Josephs College in Brooklyn. I raised four beautiful children on my own and needed to have a second full-time career as a real estate salesperson. Im currently finishing my 34th year as a continuously licensed NYS real estate associate broker. Since 2011, I have been associated with Charles Rutenberg Realty, Inc. with its corporate offices in Plainview and a branch office located in Bayside, Queens. On a personal level, I have been playing golf for over 60 years started caddying when I was only twelve years old in 1958. I grew up in Hicksville in the 1950s and 1960s graduating from Hicksville High School in June 1964. I always loved my upbringing in Hicksville and currently, Im president of the Hicksville High School Alumni Association. I helped coordinate the successful 50th and 55th reunion of my Hicksville High School Class of 1964. I take my real estate career very seriously and consider myself to be a realtor with the highest level of integrity and honesty. I consider selling real estate an honorable profession and always treat both buyers and sellers with the utmost respect.
