I started in the real estate business at the age of 27 as a franchise sales representative for RE/MAX of New York out of Amherst NY between 1989-1992. In 1990 in decided to get my real estate license and in 1992 I dove head first in to becoming a full time real estate agent with RE/MAX sherlock holmes in Amherst, NY. I loved the RE/MAX concept and even though I was just starting out, I wanted to work with the best agents and fly the flag of the best company. By the end of that year, I was named RE/MAXs Rookie of the Year for the whole state of New York. Unfortunately in 1997, our broker ran in to financial difficulties and file bankruptcy. This tied up all of our commissions for over 5 years and made the next several months very difficult financially. In 1999 I was recruited to be a manager for a new location of an existing small brokerage. I built that office up to 14 agents producing 14,000,000 in annual volume. When management choose not honor our contract, I joined RealtyUSA in 2001 and was very happy there until it was sold in 2017 to Howard Hanna. In January of 2018, I signed on with RE/MAX North in Amherst, NY and Im very excited about the future of my real estate career. In April on 2020 I opened up my own Real Estate Co. and invested in a RE/MAX franchise in East Aurora, NY
