My appreciation and affinity for the Classic as well as the Exotic stem from my Eurasian heritage. After a multitude of studies and global travels, I recognized that the real estate profession, and its diverse components, does indeed provide a unique opportunity for creativity as well business. Decades ago, I was inspired by the Hudson Valley as natural beauty, cultural and educational offerings, charming villages, and centuries-old history. My foothold in real estate began in beautiful Stone Ridge over 40 years ago. With my husband, I have designed, built, and renovated homes in Woodstock and Manhattan, and worked with renowned resort property architects and designers from Miami and Mustique Island. I know that both luxury estates and jewel-box cottages are private residential retreats, each as Home. I am familiar with and enchanted by the many possible landscapes and architecture from which to choose your country home and am most adept at guiding you through your own planning and design process should you be so inspired. I am very familiar with the unique expectations of both purchasers and sellers of new construction: Builder/owner investment and expected ROI, construction materials, finish qualities, allowances offered, change orders - a multitude of negotiations to delicately handle - and the final Certificate of Occupancy are all within my 40-year experience within the real estate industry. To enhance my market knowledge, I regularly enroll in relevant courses, and am a member of Ulster, Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, and Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Services covering both sides of the Hudson River. As in architecture, so in life - path and place are key. My path has returned me to this place for the very good life it offers.
