Although my career took a slight detour via Technology, my interest and involvement with Real Estate goes back to my early college days where I took several Real Estate, Real Estate law, and Real Estate finance classes. My first job in this field was as a Real Estate Salesman working for a local residential and commercial broker. I was then employed by wholesale land broker selling large tracts of land subdivided into individual home lots. It was during this time that I gained firsthand knowledge in: negotiating buy & sell agreements, deeds, ownership, encroachments, encumbrances, right of way, deeds, restrictive covenants, liens, perk tests, septic systems, leaching fields, unimproved/improved lots, and many of the terms and conditions that go into the successful sale or purchase of Real Estate. I have also been involved in several personal real estate transactions both as the buyer and seller. Following a career as a business professional with over 40 years of business and thought leadership experience, I have spent the past few years working with real estate professionals in the areas of sales, financing, and law to bring myself current on the latest real estate trends and market conditions. I believe that by leveraging my past business knowledge of successfully conceiving, managing and completing complex business transactions with Fortune 500 companies, and personal real estate experience, I provide a unique perspective to my clients which combines both the business side of a real estate transaction with the satisfaction of finding that special home, be it a new house, rental or investment property. In addition to providing world-class real estate services to my clients, I am currently managing the conversion of a Manhattan Brownstone building into two multi-floor condominiums. I have also recently partnered with a South Florida developer in a high return real estate investment opportunity involving the acquisition of property and the building of new residential housing.For the past 15 years Dennis Goodhart owned and operated an independent technology and thought leadership consulting company. He is an accomplished business professional and has earned a reputation as a trusted resource and problem solver to global executives and decision makers. During his career he has devised and delivered innovative workable cost effective state-of-the-art business technology solutions to many major financial companies, Fortune 500 companies, retailers, Education and Health care institutions. Dennis was both a member and an elected board member of the Society of Communications Technology Consultants (SCTC), an advisory council board member to the Illinois Institute of Technology as Real Time Communications Lab, a member of several industry advisory groups and consultant liaison programs. He has chaired education sessions on Communications and Emerging Technologies. He is a member of the IEEE, has had several published articles and has been interviewed on talk shows.
