Barbara started her career in real estate by working with a top-selling agent in her office. After five years, she began to work independently and sold seven homes in her first year, proving that experience really does count. Barbara is a native New Yorker and a 27-year resident of lower Westchester and has lived a life of real estate as she moved many times during her childhood. She has lived and traveled extensively in the South and the West (as well as in the Northeast) and feels strongly that this moving prepared her well for her real estate passion. It was not only the buying and selling and renting of homes that fascinated her early on -- it was the negotiating and the people skills. In 2018, Barbara continued to work mostly with buyers, and, despite the sellers market, she sold or was in contract with eight listings by years end. For this past year, 2019, Barbara posted 11 sales and listed homes in Hastings-on-Hudson, the Bronx, and Irvington. Her work broadened to include rentals as well as working with investors, closing three transactions with one investor.
